We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina(Hybrid). The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, optimizing, overseeing, and monitoring data retrieval, storage, and distribution throughout our organization. This role is crucial to our operations as it involves working with our commercial insurance client to ensure their data is efficiently and effectively managed.
Responsibilities
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer, with a strong focus on Snowflake utilities.
- Proficiency in SnowSQL, SnowTask, Snowpipe, and Time Travel.
- Solid experience with ETL processes and tools.
- Strong SQL skills, including the ability to write and optimize complex queries.
- Experience with stored procedures in a data environment.
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the insurance industry, particularly commercial insurance.
- Knowledge of other cloud data platforms and tools.
- Understanding of data security and privacy regulations.
