Description

Manufacturers bank is looking for a Data Engineer with strong software engineering backgrounds, a platform engineering mindset and deep passion for data. This Engineer will help to shape the technical direction of the data domain within the organization. The Engineer will also partner closely with internal business units and external vendors to develop a high performance, reliable and scalable data environment for the bank.

Responsibilities

• # 5 years of experience in data modeling, data architecture, and other areas directly relevant to data engineering.
• # Advanced SQL, ETL pipelines, Data modeling & design, SQL performance tuning in OLAP and Data Warehouse Data Lake environments
• # Ability to provide in-d epth evaluation and analysis of unique complex technological issues
• # Strong SQL skills, and experience with NoSQL databases
• # Experience with Software engineering best-practices, including but not limited to version control (Git, TFS, etc.), CI CD, automated unit testing, Dev Ops
• # Experience in cloud infrastructure using AWS Azure GCP
• # Power BI, Tableau, or similar analytical tool experience
• # Quick learner. Mindset to adopt newer technologies in the field with POCs
• # Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills able to effectively collaborate with technical and business partners.
• # Financial Industry Experience is a plus
