Min 3 years experience in a leadership role with or without direct reports Bachelor Degree in Mathematics Statistics Engineering Social/ Physical/ Life Science Business or related field + min 8 years exp in data analytics or a directly related field Additional equivalent work exp in a directly related field may be substituted for the degree requirement Additional Requirements: Negotiation; business planning; written communication; data extraction; data mining; data visualization tools; statistical programming language; relational database management; vendor management; project managementDescription
SQL programming (prefer 5+ years)
Analytical manipulation and interpretation of large databases
Project management and/or program management
Visualization using Excel, Tableau, PowerBI, and Cognos
MS Office (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, Visio)
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to work within a team as well as independently.
Exp establishing standards and best practices in regards to reporting, data storage, and processing
Exp leading data collection strategy and providing analytics on projects
Willingness to assist other teams with their projects by providing data research and analytics
Responsibilities
- working with large Oracle and/or MS SQL Server databases
- Experienced with ICD-9, ICD-10, HCPCS, and CPT codes
- Familiar with Medicare & Medicaid populations
- Data warehousing, normalization, mining, and migration
- SAS for statistical analysis
- Data storage and infrastructure setup
- Thought partner in analyzing current workflows and processes
- Thought partner in analyzing current data and analytics/BI needs
