• Collect, clean, and analyse large datasets from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and correlations.

• Apply statistical analysis and machine learning techniques to extract actionable insights and recommendations.
• Predictive Analytics and Optimization:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify key business problems and design analytical solutions.
• Build and maintain forecasting models to accurately predict demand and optimize inventory levels, minimizing stockouts and excess inventory.
• Utilize optimization techniques to improve route planning, load balancing, and distribution strategies.
• Data Visualization and Reporting:
• Create visually compelling and interactive dashboards, reports, and presentations to communicate insights to stakeholders and support decision-making processes.
• Translate complex analytical findings into clear and concise recommendations for business leaders.
• Continuously monitor and evaluate the performance of implemented models and provide insights for ongoing improvements.
• Collaboration and Innovation:
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including supply chain, operations, IT, and business development, to identify opportunities for data-driven improvements.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and supply chain analytics, and apply innovative approaches to problem-solving.
Responsibilities
- • Bachelor's/Master's/Ph.D. degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Operations Research, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative discipline).
- • Proven experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar role, preferably within the supply chain and logistics domain.
- • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python or R, with experience in using data manipulation and machine learning libraries.
- • Experience in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or matplotlib.
- • Solid understanding of statistical analysis, machine learning algorithms, and optimization techniques.
- • Experience working with large datasets and databases (SQL, NoSQL).
- • Excellent problem-solving abilities, critical thinking, and attention to detail.
- • Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
