Skills
3+ years of hands-on modeling experience in data science machine learning statistics or applied mathematics using SAS R and Python 2+ years of experience in developing and implementing large language models and natural language processing algorithms. Strong understanding of deep learning techniques including neural networks and transformers and experience using machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow PyTorch or Keras. Experience with natural language processing libraries and tools such as NLTK SpaCy or CoreNLP. Strong programming skills in languages such as Python Java or C++. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment.Description
Seeking a Data Scientist with a strong foundation in AI/Client focusing on Large Language modeling and Computer Vision modeling. As a Data Scientist with a focus on Large Language Modeling (LLM) and Computer Vision (CV), you will be responsible for developing and implementing state-of-the-art language and CV models that can understand, generate natural language, and recognize objects and faces. We are committed to innovation and delivering exceptional results to all Fox business units.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement state-of the-art natural language models that can understand and generate human-like language.
- Develop and implement state-of the-art computer vision models that can recognize objects, faces, and sport actions.
- Utilize deep learning techniques, including neural networks and transformers, to improve natural language processing (NLP) and language generation.
- Train and evaluate LLM models using large-scale datasets and advanced tools such as TensorFlow, PyTorch or Keras.
- Work closely with MLOp team to integrate LLM and CV models into production.
- Collaborate with the product and design team to understand business needs and develop LLM models that can enable personalized, engaging, and optimized experiences for client business units.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in the field of natural language processing, large language modeling and computer vision modeling.
Educational Requirements
- Experience with specialized deep learning methods; RNNs and LSTMs for NLP/NLU, and CNNs for vision tasks
- Experience with container platforms such as Docker, Kubernetes is a plus
- Experience building end to end products using Linux, EC2, EMR, Serverless AWS Lambda, Elastic Load Balancers, Bastion Hosts, NAT, etc.
