3+ years’ work experience as a database developer PostgreSQL MongoDB Microsoft SQL Server Relational database design and development using tables triggers views functions partitions indexes In-depth understanding of data management (e.g. permissions recovery security and monitoring) Hands on experience with SQL querying languages Familiarity working with .Net Framework PowerShell Python Shell Scripting PostgreSQL MongoDB Microsoft SQL Server Amazon AWS Windows Azure Excellent analytical and organization skills Excellent verbal and written communication skillsDescription
Design stable, reliable and effective databases
Optimize and maintain legacy systems as well as help design new systems
Solve database usage issues and bugs
Perform database migrations for sprint releases
Gather user requirements
Develop technical and training documentation
Provide data management support to users and generate ad-hoc reports
Collaborate with software engineers on multiple teams to facilitate database query optimization and SQL best practices
Research and suggest new database products, services, and protocols
Responsibilities
- Experience with Liquibase or similar migration applications
- GitLab, CI/CD
- Data warehousing, ETL, data archiving, Databricks
- Knowledge of software development and scripting
- BS degree in Computer Science or relevant field
- Agile software development experience
- Power BI experience is a plus
