Description
This position is Sr. DataStage Consultant with strong knowledge to be able to support analysis and development needs in an environment of DataStage, DB2, Control-M applications. This position is responsible business and functional requirement analysis, systems analysis and developing technical solutions aligning to application architecture recommendations; Acting as subject matter expert (SME) post go-live period.
Responsibilities
- Bachelor Degree and 5 years Information Technology experience OR Technical Certification and/or College Courses and 7 year Information Technology experience OR 9 years Information Technology experience.
- *Experience in application and/or product feature design.
- *Experience in application configuration
- *Experience in integration technologies(IBM infosphere DataStage and Quality Stage, IBM IIDR)
- *Experience in Unix Shell scripting.
- *Experience in SQL, DB2 (LUW & Zos) and Teradata.
- *Experience in JSON, XML.
- *Experience in Scheduling tools(Control M, Zena).
- *Experience in DevOps and/or continuous deployment and/or integration process and tools (Urban code, jenkins, Git, Jira, Service Now etc).
- *Experience in iterative and/or agile and/or scrum development.
- *Application domain knowledge.
- *Prototyping.
- *Problem solving / analytical thinking.
- *Teamwork and collaboration.
Educational Requirements
- *Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
- *Product-specific application architecture.
- *Ability to tie together solutions across systems
