Description
Ideal candidate will be a SME in DELL EMC PowerMAx and PowerScale. They should be very knowledgeable with block and file storage systems. Have the ability to provision both types of storage and perform advanced troubleshooting. In addition they should be able to perform zoning tasks on Cisco FC switches and understand the concepts of zoning and LUN masking. Also, the candidate should understand automation of DELL EMC storage devices with a deep understanding of APIs, Ansible, Python, GitLab, Chef and Puppet.
Will need to have knowledge of DELL EMC PowerMax and PowerScale storage. In addition, will need to have experience in automation of DELL EMC Storage. This will include knowledge of Ansible, Python, Chef and Puppet. Storage engineers are involved in the computer system design process as well as the installation, monitoring and upgrading processes. May have to build networks and information storage systems for high-capacity users, which may involve constructing systems that can handle a lot of users working simultaneously.
