DevOps Engineer

Description

. Solid experience in deploying and managing Grafana, Loki, Mimir, Prometheus, and

Tempo in production environments.

. Experience deploying public cloud-based systems with code using Azure PaaS.

. Proficiency with VCS git flow and scripting languages such as Terraform, Python, Bash or

similar for automation tasks.

. Strong knowledge of Linux-based systems and containerization technologies like Docker

and Kubernetes.

. Familiarity with various logging and monitoring protocols, data formats, and protocols

(e.g., JSON, SNMP, Syslog).

. Experience with creating libraries and tooling for seamless integration of monitoring

solutions into applications.

. Design and implement scalable monitoring systems tailored to our application

requirements.

. Collaborate with development teams to understand integration needs and create

libraries and tooling for simplified app integration.

. Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of the monitoring stack.

. Develop automation scripts and configurations to streamline the deployment and

maintenance processes.

. Implement best practices for security, access controls, and data retention policies.

. Good understanding of networking principles and distributed systems architecture.

. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to monitoring

and observability tools.

. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross functional teams.

. Proactive and self-motivated, with a strong sense of ownership and drive for continuous improvement.
