Skills

• 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer Automation Engineer or similar role • Strong understanding and practical experience using Python • Strong understanding of DevOps principles practices and methodologies • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python Shell or PowerShell • Hands-on experience with configuration management and infrastructure as code tools (e.g. Ansible Puppet Chef Terraform CloudFormation) • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or GCP • Solid working knowledge of NoSQL and MySQL databases with preference given to experience with Cassandra • Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g. Docker Kubernetes) • Solid understanding of CI/CD concepts and experience with related tools (e.g. Jenkins GitLab CI/CD CircleCI) • Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (e.g. Prometheus ELK stack Splunk) • Knowledge of web and networking technologies on the server and client side • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities • Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or a related field (relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree)

Description

• Design, implement, and maintain automated deployment pipelines, infrastructure, and configurations

• Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline and automate build, deployment, and release processes

• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation



• Develop and maintain test automation frameworks and scripts using Python scripting

• Implement and manage continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes and tools

• Monitor and optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure, deployments, and automation workflows

• Implement and manage configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement automation opportunities
