1. Analyze and define EDI requirements for PASA Customer and Vendors especially for needs and circumstances that are slightly unusual. 2. Provides advice and education concerning EDI guidelines and capabilities. 3. Creates develops and produces mapping documents. 4. Collaborates with programmers and internal staff to develop and test new or modified systems. 5. Develops and maintains communication links with trading partners and oversees integration of information. 6. Periodically reviews system to ensure client needs are met; identifies possible modifications as required. 7. Remains current regarding EDI and internet field technological developments. 8. Monitor and review EDI errors failures and communicate to the team with findings and issue resolution. 9. Work with the trading partners on EDI testing and certification. 10. Performs other related duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities: 1. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 2. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software. 3. Organizational skills and attention to detail. 4. Understanding and working knowledge of EDI formats(X12/EDIFACT) and communication protocols. 5. Creative problem-solving required to design a system that meets clients individual needs. 6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Skills/Abilities: 7. Familiarity with IBM inflight and Web methods or any other EDI provider. 8. Working knowledge of SAP such as IDOC Business Partner setup OTC and PTP processes. 9. EDI Mapping experience using IBM Sterling Mapper 10. Understanding IBM Sterling Integrator business process and trading partner configuration.Description
The Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Analyst will work on multiple projects, demand and enhancements for PASA. He /She will analyze requirements, produce mapping documents, test systems, and establish communication with internal PASA business customers or 3rd party integrator. Processes include OTC (Order to Cash), and PTP (Procure to Pay).
