Description

IT BIM Analyst partners with the business community and serves as a point of contact for IT-related activities. The Business Analyst analyzes requirements and defines options, scope, and objectives based on both user needs and a thorough understanding of business systems and industry requirements.



This position focuses primarily on implementing and sustaining the B2B functionality, using Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and other third-party Portal solutions for external customers across IPG. This position may assist and/or lead business discretionary projects and may also serve as a BIM representative for technical-driven initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates any new business requirements or projects for EDI.
• Understands the nature of proposed business/IT changes and will compose functional and technical specifications outlining the necessary changes to the business operation/process, organization, and/or applications.
• Documents functional specs for production changes, application enhancements, and new interface development across the IPG Sector, including NAC Box, NAC Specialty, Containerboard, and Recycling.
• Performs functional process analysis, design, and testing of new and existing business processes.
• Manages implementation process for standard EDI messages.
• Manages implementation process for more complex EDI interfaces across multiple Order to Cash systems.
