• The Master Data Specialist performs activities required to create change validate and rationalize material master data to maintain data integrity through all systems. • Review validate and execute master data requests in multi-system environment including but not limited to requests to create change extend block/unblock activate/deactivate or otherwise modify master data regarding raw materials and components • Create and maintain master data governance rules standard operating procedures (SOPs) naming convention and other enterprise data standards • Communicate with planners and supply chain personnel regarding inventory levels and needs • Prioritize execute follow up and track master data requests • Analyze validate prioritize and execute requests for mass maintenance to ensure the appropriate standards and governance rules are maintained • Perform basic statistical and relational analysis of data and be able to create reports presentations and spreadsheets. • Apply business rules and best practices when reviewing requests to identify errors in global data fields and reject escalate or remediates errors • Multi-task in a multi-functional environment while maintaining service level targetsDescription
The Master Data Specialist performs activities required to create, change, validate and rationalize ERP master data to maintain data integrity through all systems. Charcuterie Artisans is in the process of migrating from a home grown ERP platform to a single instance of an ERP tool called Deacom for the 2 manufacturing sites – RI and SLC. This role will own the processes and execution around all material changes (BOM; Routings); New product development (NPD) Transitions and then evolve into Vendor and Customer;
Responsibilities
- • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred
- • Prior experience in a primary master data role
- • Exceptional Excel familiarity required; knowledge of Excel functions/formulas preferred
- • 5+ years related experience analyzing, validating, and posting ERP master data
- • Ability to select and consistently apply standard policies and procedures
- • Basic statistical and relational analysis skills including sound logical reasoning
- • Ability to analyze and resolve questions and problems independently
- • Very good oral and written communication skills
