Description

Maintain and enhance existing enterprise services and applications using domain-driven design and test-driven development.
Collaborate with leaders, business analysts, project managers, IT architects, technical leads, and other developers.
Troubleshoot and debug complex issues, implementing effective solutions.
Create detailed project specifications, requirements, and estimates.
Research and implement new technologies to improve processes, security, and performance.
Support the development of coding standards and adhere to best practices and security guidelines.
Ensure long-term enterprise growth needs in collaboration with software architects and technical leads.

Responsibilities

• Angular with RXJS and Node.js.
• Database and persistence frameworks: Mongo, Object/Relational Mapping, Query performance tuning.
• Cloud-based development: Azure, Kubernetes.
• Web Services: GraphQL, REST/SOAP, JSON/WSDL/XML.
• Front-end: AngularCSS.
• Build/deployment tools: GitHub Actions.
• Other: Linux/Unix shell scripting, JavaScript, message queuing/event streams.
• DevOps: Kubernetes configurations, Akamai setup.
• Proficiency in object-oriented design techniques and principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools (Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Experience in Agile methodologies.
• Experience in DevOps Toolchain methodologies, including Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment.

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology Information Systems, CIS/MIS, Engineering, or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training.
• 5 years of full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) experience in designing, developing, implementing, monitoring, and supporting large-scale applications in hosted production environments (on-premises and cloud).
• Preferred:
• Experience in the Airline Industry.
• MongoDB and Compass experience.
