Full Stack Java Developer

Description

Create a Web Application using Azure Functions, Cosmos DB, React front end all written in JavaScript/Typescript. The application will be developed from scratch and the developer will work with the customer in an agile methodology. There will be weekly demos with the customer and the work must be usable by the customer at all phases of the cycle except for the first 2 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Education/College
• Any resume without education with be automatically rejected.
• Any resume from a person without at least a bachelor's degree will be automatically rejected.
• Technical Abilities
• Any resume listing “HTML” or “CSS” or “XML” or “JSON” will be automatically rejected. Those are not coding languages. If a developer is adding that then I question how much they know about coding.
• Cloud Experience
• If the candidate does have cloud experience then know that the candidate experience does not have to be in Azure. However they have to be very specific with whatever servers or services they have experience with.
• Short Contract
• I’m aware that this short contract will not be attractive to many candidates. I hope you sell them on the fact they will be working with someone who has industry experience from Microsoft and Amazon as well as some start-ups. Sell them on how much they will learn from me and my team about how to build a solid product in a short amount of time. If they love to code then they will love this project. If they are coding for money and money alone then this might not be a perfect project for them.
