Lead and participate in the design and implementation of large and/or architecturally significant applications. Champion company standards and best practices. Design code and unit test application code using Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) best practices. Complete estimates and work plans independently as appropriate for design development implementation and rollout tasks. Create technical system documentation and ensure that this documentation remains current throughout all phases of the SDLC. Participate in all phases of system testing. Communicate with the appropriate teams to ensure that assignments are managed appropriately and that completed assignments are of the highest quality.

Description

Flash Sales is an asset/value recovery process for items that are in an overstocked state. Kroger wants to offer high priority Flash Sale items within the customer digital order checkout for select products, in advance of their Peak of Freshness or Expiration date. Flash Sales are FIFO (First in, first out). These products are still guaranteed to be delivered to the customer with at least the same minimum deliverable life, as non-Flash Sales offerings, regardless of any discounts as part of the offer.
We need someone to finish out the Terraform code and some additional technical story delivery.

Responsibilities

• Proven success developing Java web applications associated with large-scale projects
• Experience building solutions using Azure, Java, Spring Boot, GitHub actions, angular, Kafka, kotlin
• A good understanding of Cloud terraform is a must
• High-functioning, self-driven, motivated, and curious.
