This resource will be collaborating with the Business and Functional stakeholders to develop, manage, and maintain the IBM Planning Analytics System, ensuring its stability, accuracy, and efficiency in budgeting and forecasting for Automobile, Homeowner, Renters, and Business Insurance.

Responsibilities

• This resource will create and optimize data models to support advanced data analysis and reporting. Optimize TM1/PA calculations and rules to enhance the performance / efficiency of financial reporting, and should be an On prem and Cloud expert.
• Mercury is currently using ADAPT Planning – they want to move from Adapt Tool to IBM Planning Analytics Tool (also known as either TM1/PA) -After budgeting, the forecasting happens manually by the business users, they want the forecasting to also happen within this IBM PA tool -This tool is capable of doing everything -Move budgeting and start forecasting and reporting out of this -This tool will also house Cost Modeling -Tools is already in place, just need to add budgeting and forecasting, the background work is started, they want someone to get the data, work with the business, and create the rules -Existing Business rules are in place, but they want to work with business to get refined rules and will be coding them into the system -This resource needs to be an expert in Planning Analytics in the Cloud -P&C Insurance experience strongly preferred -Building Data Models within PA -Data Sources will need to connect with PA, they already have the data connection for the cost location model, but for budgeting and forecasting they will have to connect the integration points Interview Process: 2 Rounds -First round with Manager -Second round 2 team members (1 is their current TM1 developer)
