5+ years of experience with UNIX/Linux strong understanding of Linux OS. 5+ years of experience working with VERITAS NetBackup. 5+ years of experience working with VERITAS NetBackup Appliances 3+ years of experience working with VERITAS IT Analytics 3+ years of hands-on Programming experience in Python. 3+ years of understanding and working knowledge of fundamental Internet Protocols (e.g. DNS HTTP SSH SMTP FTP).Description
Work within the group maintaining and developing Infrastructure:
Develop and extend tools to maintain and monitor deployments.
Assess, document, present, and execute project assignments.
Evaluate and recommend commercial and open-source software.
Automate complex processes.
Escalation point of contact to answer system related questions.
Train and Mentor team members, system administrators and operators.
Provide production support.
Responsibilities
- VERITAS InfoScale Clustering Knowledge.
- Configuration management experience (e.g., puppet, Git, Subversion.)
- CI/CD
- A degree in Computer Science or a related field.
