I.T. Support Specialist

Description

Windows (2012, and 2016) Servers (physical and virtual), Active Directory, GPOs, DNS, DHCP, and DFS.
Firewall, routers, and switches.
Fortinet
Remote Support software including RDP, Bomgar, and Dameware.
Windows 10 operating system, Microsoft Office 2016, Symantec Endpoint, Service Now, VPN client: Pulse Security and FortiClient.
Administering Active Directory users and computers, configuring group policies, administering, and configuring Windows 10 computing environment, configuring and manage VoIP phone system.
Install, Support, and troubleshoot hardware devices including, desktops, laptops, tablets, printers, scanners, and IP phones.

Responsibilities

• IT support (troubleshoot hardware and software issues) for Client’s Americas region and home office users.
• Install and configure software and computer systems.
• Assist with password or login problems.
• Logging/updating troubleshooting steps on respective tickets in HPSM
• Walk client user through steps to help them resolve their technical problems.
• Imaging / reimaging & update Laptops/Desktops and send them to staff using client’s shipping department.
• Installation of any additional software using Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager.
• Receiving IT devices (Desktop/Laptop/Monitors/Docking Stations/Mouse/Keyboard etc. from Supplier (CDW) and keep that in Stores in Administrative Building and add the receiving device (Desktop/Laptop/Monitors) to HPSM
• Co-ordinate with staff to receive the devices of resigning staff and keep that properly in store and update in HPSM
• Co-ordinate with Manufacturers for the devices under warranty and replace if they send any customer replaceable parts.
• Support for the Testing of WPaaS project
• Support the IT Team for Datacenter in Sanford, ME
• Support the Telecom Team in Telephone room in Administrative Building
• Inventory auditing for IT devices in stores.
• Installation of any software approved by client – which includes software’s are not available in Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager.
