At Edward Jones the Wealth Management Planning and Discovery development team is responsible for integrating with and extending a vendor-based financial planning tool. The system will be used by 19,000+ Financial Advisors to help clients in their financial planning needs. The system will also be integrated with various cloud and in-house applications to achieve the best users experience for the end users.
Responsibilities
- • Experience with Open System development skills such as Java, JEE, JSP, Spring, Spring Boot, Spring JPA, REST, JSON, Junit, JavaScript, HTML, and XML are required.
- • Strong experience with API development including experience with Rest
- • Experience with API gateways and patterns
- • Experience with relational database (MS SQL)
- • Working Knowledge with Micro Service Architecture
- • Working Knowledge with message streaming infrastructure - Kafka
- • Working Knowledge with application development on MuleSoft, Azure cloud and Kubernetes
- • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred
- • Background in Financial Services
