Description

Senior Java Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing and maintaining complex applications using Java, Spring Boot (Microservices), REST API’s as well as leveraging Apache Kafka that sits on top of Kubernetes. A strong background in the investment banking industry is essential for this role.

Responsibilities

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7-8+ years of post-graduate experience in Java development leveraging Spring Framework.
• 5+ years of experience in the development and consumption of RESTful API’s.
• 3+ years of dynamic experience developing using Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.
• 2+ years of experience working with Apache Kafka.
• 2+ years of experience leveraging Kubernetes (K8) for container orchestration.
• 2+ years of experience with Oracle databases and ability to write basic PL/SQL scripts when necessary.
• 2+ years developing Investment Banking or Investment Portfolio Management or trading applications is required.
• Strong experience with JSON or XML or related skills to communicate to the User Interface.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
