This individual will be joining an Agile squad to help support a major ongoing project for the Frauds & Disputes team.
The goal is to move and integrate Fifth Third’s current debit dispute solution into the new FIS solution.
Will start with debit then will start moving over other pieces – credit, ATM, etc
Solution must adhere to reg guidelines as well as Fifth Third internal SLAs and guidelines.
Disputes Squad is part of solution that supports internal Disputes agents that create and process debit dispute cases
8 total people on squad + product owners, and agilest
Willingness to support and pitch in with work related to legacy Disputes application as well.
Responsibilities
- 4+ years of Java Development experience (must have used Java 8 or newer) in Spring boot / Spring framework.
- Experience with one of the following IDE’s: Eclipse, IntelliJ, and/or Visual Studio
- Experience working on Linux/Unix platforms.
- Git or Github for version control
- 3+ years of SQL and relational databases - Ability to write database queries to pull data
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge around API’s – security model, building, testing .
