Our client is seeking a Sr Level Java engineer for engineering and delivery microservices and API's to support Customer Data. The team supports various mid-layer services across the organization and to external partners and is seeking a strong Java Engineer with cloud experience. Best qualified candidates will have strong experiences in Java 8+, Cloud, Containerization, Data Streaming, and Agile/Scrum.
Responsibilities
- · 6+ years experience with Java8
- · 4+ years experience with Springboot
- · 3+ years experience with Containers (Docker and orchestration, ie: Kubernetes or EKS or Redhat)
- · Strong understanding of HTTP/REST and OpenAPI docs
- · Experienced with at least one testing framework (jbehave, cucumber, selenium, junit) is required
- · Experienced with Agile/Scrum methodologies (backlog refinement, standups, retrospective)
