Java/Groovy Developer

Description

• Assists in the formulation and definition of system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding to develop or modify moderately complex information systems
• Designs, codes, tests, debugs, documents and maintains application programs
• Contributes to the development of project plans and timelines
• Provides estimates for planned work
• Establish an open relationship with customers, teammates, and other members of the IT organization

Responsibilities

• • 5+ years of Java/Groovy Development experience
• • 3+ years of Angular Development experience
• • Complete assigned tasks as directed in a timely manner using good object-oriented coding practices and standards
• • Unit test code for proper functionality
• • Follow the established standards, patterns, and processes
• • Participate in team planning activities
• • Takes ownership in delivered items
• • Supports production
• • Self-motivated team player who excels in a collaborative environment
• • Full lifecycle development experience on large projects, creating distributed and scalable business systems
• • Primary development skills include Java/Groovy.
• • Experience creating software solutions from scratch as well as integrating into a variety of systems
• • Strong sense of personal accountability

• • Excellent problem-solving skills
• • Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into simple software solutions

• • BS or MS in Computer Science, related IT degree, or equivalent experience
