LINUX and Cyber Security

Description

Seeking a highly motivated candidate who demonstrates commitment to customer service and possesses strong technical skills and proficiency working with:
• Windows Server/Desktop operating systems, users administration, file system, software, and services
• Understanding of servers and various storage RAID configuration
• Active Directory management, including backup and recovery of domain and GPO setup
• Fundamental networking concepts and troubleshooting such as DHCP, DNS, Routing, Firewall
• Fundamental understanding of security principles, ACL, Encryption
• Scripting: PowerShell, bash, ksh or perl for automating routine tasks
• Experienced with monitoring system health and performance, able to provide statistics to identify bottlenecks and lead optimization efforts
• Disaster recovery planning and ability to perform backup and restore for systems, applications and data
• Patch and firmware installation and management
• Strong customer service mindset, providing +1 end user support experience

Responsibilities

• • Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in cyber security, system administration, or a related role. Proven experience in cyber security & system administration, including Windows, Linux, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Oracle).
• Proven experience in cyber security & system administration, including Windows, Linux, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Oracle). Strong knowledge of networking protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
