Description
• Administration of Redhat Linux systems.
• Daily maintenance/administration of multiple Linux boxes.
• Prepare for new product related releases and assists with new initiatives and upgrades.
• Work with development team to implement and support deployments and initiatives.
• Assist with Back-ups and recovery.
• Respond to alerts issued by our monitoring systems.
• Strong Trouble Shooting skills required.
Responsibilities
- • 3+ years of experience as a Unix system administrator
- • Strong knowledge of Unix operating systems, including Linux and Solaris
- • Experience with Unix system administration tools and utilities, such as vi, sed, awk, and grep
- • Experience with scripting languages, such as Perl or Python
- • Experience with troubleshooting and resolving complex system issues
- • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
