We are seeking a skilled Mainframe Developer with expertise in COBOL, CICS, and Stored Procedures to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining mainframe-based applications, ensuring performance optimization and seamless integration with back-end systems.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain COBOL applications on mainframe systems.
- Work with CICS for transaction management and ensure efficient application performance.
- Design and implement stored procedures for data manipulation and integration with databases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements and provide technical solutions.
- Perform debugging, testing, and maintenance of existing code to ensure reliability and performance.
- Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with COBOL, CICS, and Stored Procedures.
- Knowledge of mainframe environments and IBM z/OS.
- Experience with database management systems (e.g., DB2).
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
