z/os VTAM JES2 SMP/E TSO IOCP/HCD and IBM utilities aned OMEGAON FISA-OPA has vacancies for two z/OS Systems Programmers whose primary responsibility will include: • Ongoing maintenance (install patching upgrades administration etc. ) of the mainframe z/OS operating system accompanying storage systems and systems software products (e.g. database transaction server security management scheduling report distribution etc.) and UNIX Systems Services. • Upgrades of mainframe and related storage. • The candidate will be required to provide production off hour coverage (if necessary) and support periodic weekend implementations.

Description

• The candidate must have experience with VTAM and TCP/IP.
• 10+ years of experience working with z/OS, JES2, SMP/E, TSO, IOCP/HCD. Basic IBM utilities (IDCAMS, IEFBR14, etc.) program product installations, working knowledge or the IBM virtual tape system and Unix System Services.
• Working knowledge of CICS, IMS, DB2 and AFP printing is a plus.
• Experience in using monitoring tools such as OMEGAMON.
• Working with an enterprise wide, large scale implementation.
• Excellent communications skills (Oral and written), interpersonal, and organizational skills are required.
• The candidate must have experience with mainframe CPU installs as a systems programmer consultant.

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or 10+ years of experience in relevant technical field is required.
