Description
Prudential’s Mainframe Team is looking for a Mainframe Storage Engineer to join their group. The current Storage Engineer on this team is retiring, and they need someone to backfill him on the team. This position is related to all things storage; hands-on supporting storage management and automation tasks. This is an open-ended contract with no specific end date.
Responsibilities
- Strong experience as a Storage Engineer
- Experience with TS 7770 for storing and retrieving data
- Experience with DFHSM for managing volumes and data sets
- Experience performing z/OS development OR willing to learn
- Experience with IBM Global Mirror for disaster recovery
- Experience with IBM CSM (Copy Services Manager
