The MDM Lead Developer is essentially responsible for organizing, managing, and optimizing how our company handles its most critical data, which in this case, involves healthcare information. This role is vital because having accurate and accessible data helps the company make informed decisions, improves efficiency, and supports better business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing Complex Data Structures:
The developer is an expert in understanding and using complex data structures like OMOP (a specific healthcare data model). They also need to be familiar with EHR (Electronic Health Records) and PM (Practice Management) systems. These are systems that store patient and healthcare data.
Working with Databases:
They work with types of databases, specifically Snowflake and PostgreSQL. These databases store large amounts of data, and the developer knows how to organize, access, and manage this data efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Enjoy problem solving, be resourceful to find answers and solutions for technical problems
- Microsoft Azure and Azure Data Factory
- Experience with OHDSI Datasets and Vocabularies, Atlas is a plus
- Experience with De-Identification and Anonymization process
- Experience with enterprise monitoring and observability tools
- Experience with performance tuning, measuring performance metrics
- Familiarity with Agile development methodology and tools such as Jira, Confluence, etc.
