Middleware Engineer

Description

MBFS is looking for a middleware Engineer with Tomcat experience. Selected candidates will work in a team environment to provide administration of Tomcat applications with Apache Web Server front-ends and IBM WebSphere Application Server applications with IHS front-ends. Working knowledge of Siteminder Web agent/Policy Server is plus.

Responsibilities

• MBFS is looking for a middleware Engineer with Tomcat experience. Selected candidates will work in a team environment to provide administration of Tomcat applications with Apache Web Server front-ends and IBM WebSphere Application Server applications with IHS front-ends. Working knowledge of Siteminder Web agent/Policy Server is plus.
• • The qualified candidate will have 5+ years of Tomcat (8 and 9) with experience in installation, configuration and administration of the following:
• • Apache HTTP Server 2.x
• • Experience with IBM WebSphere Application Server 8.5.x, and 9.x, MQ 8.x, IIB 9.x a plus
• • Experience with Horizontal & Vertical cluster configuration and deployed applications on it for various environments such as Dev, QA, UAT and Production.
• . Configured JDBC connection pools, data sources for DB2 Oracle 10g database.
• . Experience LDAP Integration with Tomcat
• . Created self-sign certs and installed vendor’s certs for Apache, WebSphere and web server.
• . Strong experience with Unix and Linux.
