.Net Developer

Description

Olympus is seeking a seasoned C#.Net Application Developer with solid P&C insurance skills and experience to support and maintain database driven web applications built using a combination of MS SQL, Custom Workflow engines, JavaScript, HTML, AJAX, CSS, and C#.

Responsibilities

• • Develops and modifies applications in SQL, Custom workflow engine, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, HTML, C#, and .Net.
• • Ability to effectively translate business requirements into technical specifications and production-ready solutions.
• • Codes and tests web applications as well as maintains, supports, and upgrades existing web applications.
• • Design and implement complex application changes spanning the entire development stack.
• • Creative problem-solving abilities needed in approaching developmental tasks.
• • Works effectively with members from different departments and collaborates very closely with the team to meet development deadlines.
• • Designs and enhances relational databases with a working knowledge of T-SQL, creating stored procedures, views, user defined functions, triggers, and tables.
• • Occasional travel may be required.
• Required Qualifications of the C#.Net Application Developer
• • 5+ Years Web Development (Java/JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, HTML, C#, .Net) preferred.
• • 5+ Years MS SQL Server development with query optimization techniques.
• • 5+ Years TSQL/Stored Procedure Development.
• • Recent P&C insurance skills and experience.
• • 3+ Years SSRS / Power BI (or similar) report creation.
• • Familiarity with OOP programming methodologies.
• • 3-5 Years Azure development is a plus.
• • College Degree in relevant field, technical certifications, or relevant experience
