Day to day responsibilities: NAMM is seeking a consultant to provide expertise on the architecture and implementation of Salesforce and NetSuite, ensuring that these are integrated with a data structure that supports our current and future business goals. The Salesforce and NetSuite integration will become the source of truth for all data and financial activities and must integrate seamlessly with NAMM’s website. We anticipate the System Architect consultant role to last for 2-3 months and provide a detailed plan for how we architect our new technology stack. We have provided a current org chart, and we do have a technical team that can get started on these efforts, but we also understand we may need new skillsets and are open to consultation from the Systems Architect there as well.

Responsibilities

• Building new integrations exp from scratch, ideally middleware exp
• Beginning to work with NetSuite ACS team (scratching the surface so they can digest and make an important decision about which to select)
• They use Salesforce Nimble internally, NetSuite -> aren’t communicating with eachother and need help re-architecting the environment potentially with someone who knows back end integrations well. Need to be able to get both live and communicating.
• Currently working off a legacy on prem system which is why they need this person to come in and design a system to extract data from how it’s currently being stored
• They’re running all reporting by downloading csv files and manually uploading
• They need someone to come in and build the framework out for how to sunset the current on prem server that’s in the closet and basically architect/roadmap this project
