• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Network Administrator. • Experience with design/installation/administration of cloud based systems including all primary Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online Teams SharePoint Online etc.) • Experience with DR/HA strategies and installing configuring and supporting AWS instances like EC2 Lambda serverless AWS storage S3 Cognito API Gateway Step Function etc • Should have strong knowledge in multi-region replication Storage Gateway Containers Route table Transit Gateways S3 KMS IAM Lambda Route53 Cloud watch etc • Working experience in FortiGate firewall Network Local Servers Link balancer/Load balancer LAN Switching VLAN Access controller • Ideal candidate will have at least one certification including: Microsoft MCP/MCSE Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or CompTia Network+ or A+ Certifications: Network+ Security+ certified or equivalent level of knowledge • Experience with networking and application load-balancing equipment. • Familiar with firewall and proxy procedures and activities. • Knowledge of WAN redundancy. • Previous usage of network monitoring tools. • Usage of virtualization and networking in a virtual environment. • Thorough understanding of VLAN structures. • Wi-Fi security and configuration. • Deep knowledge of Switching & Routing (OSPF Switching VLAN EIGRP BGP). • Experience with change management procedures configurations management servers and applications • Install configure and maintain network components to include switches routers wireless VPN firewall devices • Conduct appropriate routine tests to ensure the proper working condition and security of the network. • Coordinate and schedule installation of new network equipment or relocation of equipment. • Monitor network performance and resources proactively. • Perform troubleshooting to diagnose network issues utilizing network tools. • Act as an escalation point for other support teams and participate in the on-call rotation. • Assist with the implementation configuration troubleshooting and support of the company’s cloud systems. • Assist with network related installs and support such as the upgrade of core switches and firewalls. • Assist with any task reasonably related to Information Technology deemed necessary at the time by a senior level member of the Information Technology department • Strong customer service orientation good written and oral communication skills in both English keen attention to details with strategic and holistic mindset self - motivated and directed. • Oral and written communication professional and interpersonal skills. • Assist customers in person on phone and live chat email social media and web form submissions. • Prioritize and execute tasks in high-pressure environment. Shop LC is looking to hire for the role of Network Administrator I to support network administration with weekend availability. This detail-oriented role will maintain computer systems and servers by installing, maintaining, and upgrading servers. This includes supporting hardware, for a 24/7 nationally broadcasted home shopping network.
Responsibilities
- • Maintains and administers computer networks and related computing environments including computer hardware, systems software, applications software, and all configurations
- • Diagnoses, troubleshoots, and resolves hardware, software, or other network and system problems, and replaces defective components when necessary
- • Assist with the implementation, configuration, troubleshooting, and support of the company’s cloud systems.
- • Work with internal and external teams to install, convert, and implement new cloud applications.
- • Researches, evaluates, and recommends possible cloud service selections and related tools of new and emerging technologies to meet identified business process problems.
- • Configures, monitors, and maintains email applications or virus protection software.
- • Manage LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi network infrastructure.
- • Network response, uptime, and performance.
- • Maintain equipment configurations and backups.
- • Firewall, proxy, and boundary-level devices and policies.
- • Business-to-business communication through VPN tunnels and point-to-point.
- • Best practices and protocols for networking.
- • Mapping and documentation.
- • Comply with company policies and procedures.
