We are looking for a highly motivated Staff Network Engineer to join our team!
As a senior member of a fast growing startup, you will directly contribute to the immediate as well as long-term success of the company where our data-intensive, high performance computing needs are expanding our digital footprint by the day. You will bring experience in utilizing the technologies below to architect, implement, and secure networks across a global footprint. To succeed, you will need to be detail-oriented and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- • Bachelor’s degree in information systems or equivalent
- • 10+ years of networking experience
- • 8+ years working with switches and routing (BGP4, OSPF, VLANs, segmentation planning, etc.)
- • 8+ years working with wireless and network authentication technologies (RADIUS, TACAS, 802.11x, etc.)
- • 8+ years working with firewalls, including NAT, ACLs, VPN (Palo Alto preferred)
- • 3+ years of network programming and networking automation languages
- • Familiarity with zero-trust methodologies
- • Proven experience with PAN and Juniper networking devices
- • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- • Familiarity with network log management and aggregation (SIEM)
- • Networking certification preferred (CCIE or similar)
