Seeking a Senior Network Engineer to support its Remote Administration (Managed Service Provider) program. The Remote Administration program offers full-scope managed IT services for independent financial businesses within client’s advisor network. This role will own the overall network infrastructure supporting these businesses and lead design configuration implementation and escalated troubleshooting.Description

Responsibilities
- • Deploy and manage Azure backend infrastructure: This role will partner with our Microsoft 365 engineer to design and deploy isolated customer networks in our Azure environment for BCP purposes. Customer backups would need capability to restore to these networks, and the networks would need VPN connections to our central Palo Alto VM-100 to support client connections through GlobalProtect.
- • Manage Palo Alto VM-100 appliance: Perform updates, troubleshooting, maintain ongoing site-to-site VPN connectivity, Global Protect, and Panorama configurations.
- • Ownership of our Meraki MX Platform and Improvements for our MX Management: Lead ongoing design improvements for our Meraki platform. A key piece will be leveraging Python to automate management tasks across many organizations and networks, such as adjusting firewall rules or updating non-Meraki peer site-to-site VPN tunnels.
- • Tier 3 network escalations: Handle advanced network troubleshooting including traffic flows, ipsec tunnel issues, firewall blocks, packet captures via wireshark, and layer 2 and layer 3 network protocols.
- • Document changes to the systems using change management best practices.
- • Maintain a knowledgebase for system and processes owned by the role.
- • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to evolving business needs: Effectively prioritize tasks, stay current with the latest technology advancements, and drive projects to successful completion.
