Description

This Node.js Software Developer IV for the engineering platform will play a pivotal role in developing and enhancing high-performance applications and services. The expertise in Node.js and MongoDB, coupled with additional desirable skills, will drive the platform's evolution and functionality. Collaborating with our dedicated team, you will leverage technology to maintain and extend Charter Communications' leadership in the telecommunications sector.

Responsibilities

• • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• • Minimum of 6 years of extensive experience with Node.js, specifically in developing scalable web applications and APIs.
• • Demonstrated proficiency with MongoDB; experience with graph databases is highly desired.
• • Strong skills in code refactoring, unit testing, and ensuring code quality through best practices.
• • Knowledge of Unity (game engine) is considered a strong asset.
• • Proven track record of conducting code reviews and mentoring junior developers.
• • Solid understanding and practical experience with microservices architecture is desired.
• • Experience with AWS and familiarity with cloud services and infrastructure is desired.
• • Proficiency in Angular or other front-end technologies is highly desired.
• • Experience with TypeScript is a plus.
• • Ability to work in an evolving environment and collaborate effectively with a team.
• • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to new technologies and methodologies quickly.
