The Technical Lead must be hands-on in Development Integration and Platform updating/enhancing someone who will be responsible for their share of the development. They will also guide and steer the entry-level team member. This is a small team of 2. This Contractor will interact with Vanguard Technical Architects from the Chief Technology Office (CTO). Those architects will come up with the platform and be responsible for high-level design of the processes. The Tech Lead will work to implement it according to their vision for the tool. Node.JS is critical. This skill is missing in the team and strong Node.JS is a must have! This tool uses a cloud-based database so the AWS skills listed are very important. Most teams that use this tool have developed systems in Java or Python so the candidate should possess senior-level coding skills in Java and Python. Provides advanced level IT technical lead services and direction for software, middleware, or hardware projects on a single platform.
Provides technical expertise and completes complex development, design, implementation, architecture design specification, and maintenance activities.
Participate in design, code, and test inspections throughout product life cycle to contribute technical expertise and to identify issues. Presents technical status and issues at milestone reviews.
Ensures the viability of IT deliverables.
Recommends development options and conducts testing.
Identifies potential solutions and may approve solutions proposed by team members.
Resolves complex issues uncovered by testers and internal clients.
Communicates with key stakeholders on project issues and implications.
Evaluates the impacts of change requests on technologies.
