ODI Developer

Description

• Documenting all technical and system specification related to ETL (Extract Transform and Load) processes.
• Research and analyze current systems, subsystems and interfaces to understand the current and new process flow.
• Perform analysis on business requirements, analyze source systems data and design dimension modelling such as star schema and snowflake schema for the ETL development as recommended by Kimball method of data warehouse.
• Design and implement to migrate data from relational databases such as Oracle, IBM, XML files, Excel, CSV and delimited files with encryption to Oracle Exadata warehouse.
• Design and implement Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) Interfaces, packages and procedures based on business requirements, develop mapping documents and use ODI for reverse engineer to retrieve the metadata from data storage and load it to the Mazda repository.
• Expert in using various knowledge modules (LKM, CKM, IKM, RKM and JKM) and customize knowledge modules based on requirement.
• Expert in Topology Manager Module to manage the data information systems in physical and logical architecture.
• Design complex SQL and PLSQL packages to develop ETL (Extract Transform and Load) process and various data marts.
• Design Python/R/UNIX script to achieve the business requirements such as Key Value Pair (KVP) and Framework.
• Examine the query performance by using EXPLAIN PLAN and SQL TRACE by suggesting and creating Indexes, Views, Functions, Store procedures, Triggers and Exception Handlers.
• Implement SDLC process, performs various test validation (System, Unit, Regression and Load testing) for all test plans, prepare Unit Test Case (UTC) document and Incorporate security requirements into the design.
