Skills
1. Expert in Vertex Tax system EBS EBTAX module. 2. Understanding of Syncho tax system is an advantage. 3. Good understanding of setups in O2C Receivables EBTAX and OM module. 4. Good knowledge of interface between Vertex and Oracle EBS system. 5. Good accounting and multi-country taxation knowledge 6. Expert understanding and ability to analyze and query application data schema 7. Requirements gathering and scope definition with non-technical business user constituencies 8. The ability to interview various non-technical managers to understand complex dynamic business rules/process and then create detailed specific and comprehensive documentation 9. Engage business users spanning multiple business units and ensure cohesive articulation of business goals and processes to ensure effective technology solutions 10. Engage business users to support all necessary clarification for the Project Team Developer Team and Production Support Team to design and implement an effective solution 11. Manage components of a project plan or entire projects 12. Strong functional understanding of the systems supported and the development framework for customizations 13. Verification of feasibility of Business User’s request functionality and business rules based on existing technical systems and data structures 14. Ability to create and present key requirements artifacts without direct supervision - Scope Documents - Use Cases - Detailed Specification of Key Business Rules - Activity Diagrams - Business Process Mapping Diagrams and Documentation - Application Gap analysisDescription
This position is a hybrid role 50% onsite in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, 50% work can be done remotely.
Will need to be onsite in Winston-Salem, North Carolina 2 days per week and remainder of work can be done remotely.
Responsibilities
- • Experience with Oracle EBS r11 and R12 Finance modules (O2C, Receivables, Tax, and GL modules, EBTax, MOAC and Security Setup, Recon)
- • Strong knowledge of related application configurations and processes
- • Proficiency with SQL based queries
- • Knowledge of Project and Software Development Life Cycle Methodologies
- • Ability to identify system impact for small- and large-scale initiatives
- • Experience with global implementations of Oracle EBS
Educational Requirements
- • Experience with other Oracle EBS modules, EBTAX, AR, OM.
- • Ability to effectively manage multiple, competing, high-priority projects with varying deadlines
- • Able to effectively lead and motivate small project teams
- • Ability to achieve results under limited direction
- • Strong customer and results orientation
- • Excellent oral and written communication skills
- • Strong interpersonal skills
- • Conflict resolution skills
- • Proficiency with MS Project/Visio/etc…
