Contributes to existing test suites (integration regression performance); Analyzes test reports identifies any test issues/errors; Triages the underlying cause. The Global Markets Business Finance Office team within Finance Technology consists of extremely talented engineers, who develop industry leading financial management platforms that provide solutions to subledger application for traded products like Derivatives, Securities etc. globally. The candidate would perform development using Oracle as backend and some basic front end on Net and browser-based platforms to develop and deliver complex software requirements to accomplish business goals and ensure software is developed to meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements.
Responsibilities
- Strong knowledge in Oracle database Design, Query and tuning.
- Strong foundation understanding of database concepts and development technologies.
- Extensive SQL and PL/sQL experience required,
- Experience designing tables, data analysis, writing queries (SOL and PL/sOL), performance tuning, and table partitions.
- Authority on Oracle PL/SQL development and Oracle Performance tuning.
- Proficiency with Unix/Linux Shell scripting (Korn Shell (KSH), BASH, etc.).
- Must have strong PL/SQL skills and must be proficient with Oracle; T-SQL/SQL Server skills are nice to have.
- Strong knowledge of triggers, stored procedures, third party tools, and transaction monitoring.
- SQL Tuning (within Oracle applications), SOL traces, SQLLDR Oracle Application utilities.
- Tune/Optimize overall database and specific database objects performances.
- Design, implement and maintain data loading scripts/programs.
- Confer with co-workers to determine impact of database changes on other systems in a production environment.
- Troubleshoot/Resolve any database issues.

- Experience With DevOps CV/CD tools like Jenkins, Ansible, GitHub, Bitbucket Able to work individually or with a team and take End-to-End ownership of tasks.

- Demonstrated Experience in Data Warehouse implementations in a technical SME capacity.
- Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills, coupled with a desire to take on responsibilities.
