This role will have day-to-day responsibility for the management, operation, and ongoing enhancement of the Automox endpoint-fleet-management platform responsible for the patching and hardening of 20,000 Windows and Mac endpoints across the operating surface globally. Automox (in deployment) is the single-pane-of-glass management console that covers the full esttate of endpoint assets across all sites and lines of business. This is an engineering role - not an operations role. While operation of the platform falls under the scope of the role, it’s operation occurs largely through code and automation. The state of the platform will be in a state of constant change as we respond to new vulnerabilities and the changing threat landscape.
Responsibilities
- • Experience managing / operating / engineering endpoint estate-management products (Ideally Automox, but not necessarily) such as Kaseya, Manage Engine, Tanium, BigFix, etc.
- • Deep understanding of both the Windows and Mac Operating systems - expert level in one and working knowledge of the other may work, as there are multiple engineers on the team
- • Some development experience preferred, and experience scripting (e.g. Powershell, ZsH, etc)
- • Ability to create application deployment and upgrade packages via Automox worklets and native functions
- • Experience deciphering vulnerability reports and preparing remediation actions (upgrades, patching, hardening)
- • Upgrading and patching end user applications via Automox
- • Preparing endpoint hardening configurations and deploying / managing via Automox
- • Partner with and assist the Threatlocker team for application control
- • Partner with the security team on security remediation actions
- You might also have:
- • A degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field
- • SQL Reporting and query writing experience
- • Familiarity with PowerBI and other reporting tools
- • Experience with Microsoft cloud technologies such as Azure AD, Azure Information Protection, Cloud App Security and Defender ATP
- • Automation skills (tool agnostic) and the ability to drive initiatives to automate processes
- • Experience with managing and administrating Intune and Jamf
- • Experience in cyber security and red team/blue team activities Education Preferred 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
