Drive AMD platforms to achieve the best performance in compute and I/O
· Develop the overall team understanding of performance related to tools, techniques, and analysis to measure and improve performance
· Work closely with operating system team to uncover new techniques for accelerating server-based applications
· Research trade-offs for our server architecture, especially as related to the memory hierarchy, storage systems, scheduling, and I/O devices
· Drive changes to memory, storage systems, I/O systems, file systems and operating system scheduling that reduce power requirements while improving performance.
