Power BI Admin

Description

• Exposure to Microsoft Fabric.
• Experience with Tableau administration (on-prem software).
• Familiarity with JIRA for project tracking.
• Experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
Required Education/Certification(s):
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Responsibilities

• • Extensive experience with Power BI Service, including configuration and administration.
• • Strong SQL querying skills, including the ability to improve query performance and troubleshoot database issues.
• • Familiarity with DBA tasks, including identifying issues, optimizing queries, and providing recommendations.
• • Networking knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues, especially in virtual machine environments.
• • Experience with Azure Cloud services and configuration, specifically related to Power BI and gateway servers.
• • Hands-on experience with Power BI report development and administration.
• • Data management and ETL experience, with an understanding of data types and architecture.
• • Familiarity with cloud services such as Power Stack, both on-prem and in the cloud, particularly in an Azure-hosted environment.
• • Basic knowledge of CI/CD processes, with a focus on improving operational aspects of applications.
• • Strong communication skills to engage with stakeholders, document issues, and convey solutions effectively.
