Power BI Developer

Description

Seeking an experienced Power BI Developer with 5+ years of expertise to join their team. This is a long-term contract opportunity based in East Rutherford, NJ, offering a hybrid work model (3 days on-site, 2 days remote). You will work closely with subject matter experts and assist in managing a high volume of requests, focusing on centralizing and integrating data to improve business insights.

Responsibilities

• Power BI (Extensive experience with PBIX reporting)
• Snowflake BI
• SQL (Strong querying skills)
• ETL Tools: Understanding of Matillion
• Reporting: Expertise in creating and maintaining Power BI reports
• Required Soft Skills:
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks autonomously
• Comfortable collaborating in a small, fast-paced team environment
• Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
• Data Centralization: Leverage Snowflake to centralize business data, providing deeper insights into business metrics, trends, and performance indicators.
• ERP System Integration: Integrate data with the company’s ERP system to enhance reporting and analytics capabilities.
• Reporting Enhancement: Work on enhancing Power BI reports to provide actionable insights into key business metrics and trends.
