Circle K is looking for an experienced BI Engineer with 5+ years of Power BI development experience (Power BI Desktop Gateway Paginated Reports Services and Security) to join the Data and Analytics Engineering Team as they manage the Circle K Data Platform in Azure.Description
• 5+ years of Power BI development experience (Power BI Desktop, Power BI Gateway, Paginated Reports, Services, Security)
• Strong SQL
• DAX experience
• Experience working on the Azure platform including Azure SQL, Azure Synapse, Data Factory, Blob Storages & Data Lakes)
Responsibilities
- Responsible for administering, supporting, monitoring, and tuning the Power BI reporting environment
- Design, extend and enhance Power BI data models and development of new cubes
- Develop, test and deploy DAX based scripts, queries and functions in Power BI
- Design and develop Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Works closely with Power BI report users to tune and optimize Power BI reports and dashboards.
- Serves as Best Practices resource for Power BI initiatives in the organization.
- Conducts training and user-group sessions on Power BI.
- Acts as the escalation point for Power BI-related issues.
Educational Requirements
- 5+ years of Power BI development experience (Power BI Desktop, Service, Security)
- 5+ overall industry experience in the area of Data Analytics & Dashboarding/Reporting
- Most have strong experience with SSAS/AAS tabular modeling
- Must have strong experience with SQL
- Must have strong experience with DAX
- Must have strong Dashboarding Experience with understanding of User Experience principles
- Experience with Azure platform including Azure SQL, Azure Synapse, Data Factory, Blob Storages & Data Lakes.
