Description

The role involves aligning with business process areas to support data conversion and readiness activities for the deployment of ERP systems. This includes tasks such as collecting new data, and validating data, visualizing data, and updating and/or creating new reports. The role also involves monitoring and responding to Data Readiness Reports, partnering with the program on data load templates, working with the team to capture test data sets for proper testing scenarios, providing support during testing efforts. Proficiency in Microsoft programs, particularly Excel, Power BI, and SQL, is required, along with the ability to create formulas and visuals to support data analysis.


The role also involves analyzing non-IT business problems, articulating requirements for process improvement, assessing process performance, and preparing ROI statements for proposed investments. Strong written and verbal communication skills and organizational skills are also important for this role.

Responsibilities

• Power BI: - Integration with Power Query: Familiarity with Power BI for more advanced data modeling and reporting.
• Report Development: -The ability to create interactive dashboards and reports.
• Data - Statistical Analysis: - A basic understanding of statistical methods and their application in Excel.
• Data Visualization: - Skills in creating charts and graphs to effectively visualize data insights.
• Power Query:
• Data Transformation: The ability to clean, transform, and reshape data from various sources.
• Query Development: Proficiency in creating complex queries using the Power Query editor.
• Data Importing: Experience in importing data from multiple sources such as Excel files, CSVs, databases, and web services.
• Advanced Excel Skills:
• Formulas and Functions: A strong understanding of advanced Excel formulas and functions, such as VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, SUMIFS, etc.
• PivotTables and PivotCharts: The ability to create and manipulate PivotTables and PivotCharts for data analysis.
• Conditional Formatting: Knowledge of applying conditional formatting to highlight key data points.
• Scripting and Automation:- M Language: Understanding of the M language for advanced data transformations in Power Query.
