Skills
Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g. Computer Science Health Informatics Business Administration) or equivalent practical experience. 3+ years experience as a Product Manager with a focus on healthcare interoperability and integration of healthcare products and systems. Strong understanding of healthcare industry standards and protocols such as HL7 FHIR DICOM and healthcare regulations (e.g. HIPAA GDPR). Familiarity with interoperability frameworks and technologies including EHR systems APIs data exchange formats and integration engines. Ability to analyze complex business and technical requirements translating them into actionable product plans and strategies. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders including software developers healthcare providers and regulatory experts. Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities with a keen attention to detail. Experience with Agile methodologies and product management tools (e.g. JIRA Confluence) is desirable.
Description

Develop and execute a comprehensive interoperability strategy, aligning it with the company's vision and objectives.
Identify and assess interoperability requirements and challenges, considering healthcare industry standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR), regulatory guidelines (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR), and emerging trends.
Define product requirements and specifications based on user needs, market analysis, and interoperability goals.
Collaborate with stakeholders, including healthcare providers, software developers, and regulatory experts, to gather feedback and ensure alignment with their requirements.
Create and maintain a product roadmap that outlines the prioritized features, integrations, and enhancements required to achieve interoperability objectives.
Work with UX/UI designers to create intuitive and user-friendly products for data exchange and interoperability workflows.
Engage with regulatory and compliance experts to ensure adherence to relevant healthcare standards and regulations.
Partner with marketing and sales teams to develop compelling messaging and go-to-market strategies for interoperability features.
Conduct user research to understand user needs, pain points, and workflows related to healthcare interoperability.
Collect and analyze user feedback, conducting usability testing and incorporating user insights into product improvements.
Monitor industry trends, competitor offerings, and user feedback to identify opportunities for product differentiation and enhancement.
Monitor product adoption rates and user feedback post-launch, addressing any issues or gaps to continuously improve product performance and user satisfaction.
