Description
· Lead the overall management of the contract, ensuring all project goals are met within scope, schedule, and budget.
· Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
· Coordinate with Government stakeholders to communicate project progress, risks, and issues.
· Oversee the performance of the contractor’s team, ensuring compliance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS).
· Maintain strict adherence to ITIL-based service management processes, ensuring continuous service improvement.
· Prepare and present status reports to senior management and stakeholders, ensuring transparency.
· Manage risks, develop mitigation strategies, and lead corrective actions as required.
· Administer and monitor tools such as Microsoft Project for planning, SharePoint for document management, and ServiceNow for incident and change management.
Responsibilities
- · Certifications:
- · Project Management Professional (PMP), certified by the Project Management Institute (PMI).
- · ITIL Foundation certification (ITIL v3 or later).
- · Skills and Experience:
- · 8-10 years of experience managing large-scale IT projects, preferably in the federal sector.
- · Proficient in project management tools (Microsoft Project, JIRA) and collaboration platforms (SharePoint, Microsoft Teams).
- · Strong understanding of project management frameworks such as Agile and Waterfall.
- · Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- · IRS Experience in Network Management is mandatory
