Description
This is a hybrid position requiring approximately 25% onsite presence. The frequency of in-person meetings will depend on project needs and could range from 2-3 times per week to 8-10 times per month.

The project involves implementing SAP Ariba, so candidates with experience in large ERP implementations are needed. SAP knowledge is a plus. MS Project experience is a MUST.
Summary:
The selected Sr. Project Manager will manage key projects with the goal of delivering each project within scope, on time, and within budget.
Responsibilities
- * Responsible for overall coordination, status reporting, and stability of project-oriented work efforts.
- * Establishes and implements project management processes and methodologies for the IT community to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high-quality standards, and meet customer expectations.
- * Responsible for assembling project plans and teamwork assignments, directing and monitoring work efforts daily, identifying resource needs, performing quality reviews; and escalating functional, quality, and timeline issues appropriately.
- * Responsible for tracking key project milestones and adjusting project plans and/or resources to meet the needs of customers.
- * Coordinates communication with all areas of the enterprise that impacts the scope, budget, risk, and resources of the work effort being managed.
- * Must possess extensive knowledge and expertise in the use of project management methodologies and tools, resource management practices, and change management techniques.
- * Manages one or more cross-functional projects of medium to high complexity.
- * Responsible for multiple large, complex projects with greater impact to the enterprise.
- * Manage and deliver projects on time, within scope and budget.
- * Ability to lead all relevant project stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- * Assist all departments involved in a project to set realistic goals and ensure the technical feasibility of solutions.
- * Coordinate resource availability, alignment, and allocation across all departments both technical and non-technical to ensure project success.
- * Develop risk management plans and perform risk assessments.
- * Develop detailed work breakdown structures, monitor and track progress against task completion.
- * Successfully build and manage relationships with project team members and external partners in the district.
- * Develop communication plans and consistently communicate project status to the Program Manager and stakeholders in an organized, consistent manner.
- * Lead change management of scope, schedule, and budget.
- * Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
- Qualified candidates would have the following:
- * At least ten (10) years of overall Project Management experience, five (5) of which need to be in large ERP capacities, and include at least one (1) SAP Ariba Implementation
- * K-12 experience preferred
- * Strong understanding of project lifecycles and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)
- * Strong experience with Microsoft Project
- * Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
